The destruction and salinization of the soil, contamination by pesticides and fertilizers, deforestation or the loss of genetic biodiversity, are very important problems that must be faced in order to continue enjoying the advantages that the green revolution has brought us. Its excessive use causes pollution of the waters when these products are washed away by the rain. Pollution causes eutrophication of waters, mortality in fish and other living beings and damage to human health. Aquifers in agricultural areas have been contaminated with nitrates to a level dangerous to human health, especially for children. That it is easier to cultivate the land with the new technology, but it has its disadvantages and benefits that has given a very big turn in vegetable foods, directly benefiting those with few resources who have a hard time getting the basic basket. However, we must take into account that at the same time nature is directly harmed, due to the loss of fertility in the land, the contamination of aquifers and mainly to the health of human beings.
Advantages & Disadvantages of Information & Communication Technology
Information and communication technologies ICTs generally refer to an expanding assembly of technologies used to handle information and aid communication. ICTs enable individuals to create, collect, process and manage information in different ways voice, text or image. There is scarcely a field of human activity today that has not been touched by the dramatic changes in ICTs. The use of ICTs in agriculture in ACP regions, for instance, is progressing, with growing appreciation of the importance of increasing access to information. However, challenges exist to using ICTs in this field, such as: erratic power supplies; fluctuating networks; high costs of ICT infrastructure; low incomes of rural farmers; lack of policies to enhance ICT development in rural areas; and a lack of necessary skills to use the technologies. Despite such problems, opportunities abound in terms of adoption of novel agricultural practices promoted through ICTs, and more farmers in the ACP region have developed their ICT literacy via extension training, increasing the use of such technologies.

With electronic devices so tightly wound into the fabric of modern society, the advantages and disadvantages of ICT use may not be immediately apparent. Taking a fresh look at the pros and cons helps to give perspective on the ways ICT affects you and your business. ICT has opened up a wide range of new communication methods, allowing you to contact others more or less instantaneously, and for less money and over greater distances than ever before.

Двигаясь к будке, он нащупывал в кармане деньги. Нашлось 75 песет никелевыми монетками, сдача от поездки в такси, - достаточно для двух местных звонков. Он вежливо улыбнулся озабоченной медсестре и вошел в будку.
