Did you know that through Gumbo funds, the St. James Episcopal Church Women help support Grace Camp?

Grace Camp is an amazing ministry that provides a unique week long summer camp experience for children who have a parent in prison. The week is full of fun activities and the children are taught about God's love through worship and Bible study and that they are a Child of the King. The camps are held throughout the state, and are fully volunteer organized and run.

You're invited to Gumbo Fridays: A special time for fellowship at St. James!

Fridays in Lent are an extra special time at St. James: Gumbo volunteers get to know each other better and enjoy special, purposeful time together sharing St. James with the community!

If you're interested in serving -- positions are available on Thursdays, Gumbo Fridays, and Sundays -- please contact
2015 Gumbo co-chairs: Mary Pesses or Kelly Williams. Or, just come on down! We heartily welcome you!

Quarts and pints of gumbo will be sold in the Parish Hall Parlor on Sunday mornings, as they are available.
Gumbo will be sold after the 5:00 p.m. service on Sunday, March 22!
