This Sunday at St. James

February 18: The First Sunday in Lent

Repin - Follow Me, Satan

Follow Me, Satan (Temptation of Christ) is by Ilya Repin, ca. 1901-1902. Repin, born in the Ukraine, was described as an artist in the "Russian national style." Few of his pieces depict such vivid colors and quick brush strokes of impressionism as this one. Click the image for a larger view.
