Day School Outreach

The Day School is working on two Advent Outreach Projects through Friday, December 15:

1) A book drive for Gonzales Primary School in Gonzales for books to create classroom libraries so students can borrow books to read at home.

2) Money for Emmanuel Episcopal School in Houston, destroyed in the floods of Hurricane Harvey. Emmanuel is currently holding classes at Holy Spirit School in Houston, but has lost everything, much more than will be covered by insurance. Read more, here.

Please bring elementary-age books for Gonzales Primary, and deliver to the Ministries Center foyer in a marked bag. Donations for Emmanuel Episcopal School should be delivered to the church or school office, or put in the alms basin; make checks payable to St. James Day School and put "Emmanuel School" in the memo line, please.
