Marvin McLennon called to Christ Church, Little Rock

Our Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, Marvin McLennon, announces he has been offered, and accepted, a position in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas as Christ Church’s full-time Youth Ministry Coordinator. Marvin originally joined our community as the Youth Intern for the Episcopal Service Corps in 2013 after graduating from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas.
We appreciate all that Marvin has brought to St. James, and we, and the EKC/EYC youth, particularly, will truly miss him. His last day with St. James will be July 15, so be sure to offer congratulations and tell him good-bye, before then!

St. James Outreach

Application Deadline is June 15

As part of our tithe to the community at large, St. James funds about $62,000 in small grants to area and diocesan charities. Funding is focused on the areas of greatest need—food, medical services, shelter, and education—for the people of greatest need, delivered by the most effective means. Last year, we helped cancer patients, the homeless, low-income school children and more.

Please encourage the charities you know and love to apply. They can find the application on our website.
