Habitat for Humanity needs volunteers this summer at the two ReStore locations! Enjoy the air conditioning while helping the Habitat ReStore raise funds to build simple decent homes, as well as divert quality building materials from the landfill. There are many volunteer opportunities at the ReStore: Customer Service, Preparing Donations for Display, Picking up Donations and Office Support. This is a great opportunity for anyone, especially retired individuals who want to do meaningful work that makes a difference in our community! The Habitat ReStore sells donated new and gently used building supplies to the public at a greatly reduced price. All proceeds help Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge build affordable homes with families in need. Contact Kristen Lastrapes or 225-927-6651 to volunteer!
