Gumbo Info and Flyer Link
Food, Fun, and Fellowship!

Did you know more than 50 volunteers help to make Gumbo run smoothly? Susan and Kelly send a big THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! to all who have been involved, so far!

Friday volunteers enjoy free parking in the Baton Rouge Parking lot at Florida and Sixth Street to make room for our guests in our own lots (get your parking pass from Susan), and begin arriving at 10:30 a.m. to prepare for our 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. dine-in and take-out serving time.

Thursday volunteers have already dipped pints and quarts for take-out orders, and set up tables and decorations to turn Bishops Hall into our beautiful, musical café. Sunday volunteers serve parishioners' requests for frozen gumbo, between the morning services. Even if it's just a little bit of time, as much as you can help, Thursday, Friday, or Sunday -- there's a place for you!

ForecastThis weekend's forecast calls for some cool, Gumbo evenings! Pick up a pint or quart to go, this Friday. Rice and side items are also available, a la carte. Download a menu at the button, below! Large orders: call ahead to 225-387-5141, and we'll have them packed and ready for quick and easy pick-up.

Experience the fun and fellowship that develops working with your fellow parishioners -- Gumbo Guys and Gals! Sign up, here, or email Kelly or Susan to let them know you'd like to help. (Kelly will be manning the emails this week, after undergoing a surgical procedure; a "soft" pat on the back to you, Kelly!)

Gumbo will be sold in the Parish Hall after the nine and eleven o'clock services on Sunday, while supplies last! Girl Scout cookies from the St. James Episcopal Day School troops will be there at 10:00 a.m., too -- this Sunday, only!
