Sunday morning Christian education programs for children ages three through 12 resume, on the second floor of the Parish Hall.

Children's Church is for youngsters who would like to spend time during 10:30 services in age-appropriate lessons and activity before returning to their families in time for communion. Gather at the back of the church during the sequence hymn (just before the Gospel reading).

*Editor's Note: This may be the first-ever 53rd edition of a St. James Episcopal Church newsletter in 101 years of parish publications, the result of a combination of our weekly format, not ceasing for holidays or breaks (for decades The Messenger was published no more often than bi-weekly during the summer, and did not issue an edition between Christmas and New Year's Day), and, 2016 being a leap year beginning on Friday, meaning 53 Fridays and 53 Saturdays, this year. We hope you enjoy this extra special edition, with our compliments!
